Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Harburger
After studying business administration, economics and industrial psychology, he graduated with a PhD from the University of Mannheim. Later he completed an MBA at the University of Augsburg and Pittsburg, USA.
After ten years in the IT-industry he became consultant for business strategies at Roland Berger. After this, he started his own consulting company, while lecturing strategic and international management as a professor at the University of Bochum.
As co-managing director of Harburger - Laufs & Partner, he can apply his understanding and developing of business strategies with his 35 years of experience in a multitude of projects. They range from medium-sized companies to corporations in Germany, Europe and the US.
Industry experience: Mechanical engineering (automotive, industrial) & special machine construction, chemicals & pharmaceuticals, banks & financial service providers, insurance companies.
Dipl.-Ing. Rolf Laufs
After studying automotive engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Rolf Laufs initially opted for a technical career specializing in mechanical, electronic and mechatronic systems in the automotive industry,
During his professional career he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. As a result, he took on responsibilities as a top manager in a large international corporation and as managing director and CEO in medium-sized companies. His international assignments in the US and Asia taught him how to work with people in different cultures.
During his time at automotive OEMs and suppliers, he gained valuable experience in product development, manufacturing, sales, finance & controlling, human resources and corporate management.
He has been working with his partner Wolfgang Harburger in various constellations since 2014. Today, he is co-managing director of Harburger - Laufs & Partner.
